The core responsibility of the Director of Security and Compliance is to ensure the welfare of the youth, staff, parents, visitors while protecting the grounds and buildings; devise and execute decisions on the best way to obtain and maintain the security of the organization.  The Director of Security and Compliance, is directly responsible for delivering and ensuring that all BGCA and safety/security requirements are implemented at all sites, which includes School Base, Drop-in Program, Imagine Nation, Cambridge Park and FCG.  This role will help to ensure that research and evaluation methods are standardized across the organization, and that insights are integrated into youth safety and the overall strategy of the organization.  The position shall help to drive quality, safety, consistency and impact of services on our youth and community.  Assist each location with training associated with the requirements, monitor the progress of them and track all training. Conduct and lead evaluations of all divisions to ensure compliance. The Director will also oversee the facilities teams to ensure that they are assisting in any and all safety and compliance needs.

The Alfond Youth & Community Center (AYCC), Boys & Girls Club and YMCA of Greater Waterville, the only merged organization in the country established in 1924 operates a comprehensive network of facilities and programs serving Central Maine.  The AYCC is focused on strengthening our community by offering programs that create a positive impact with youth, teens, adults, families, and seniors. Our mission driven organization serves 85,000 hot free meals yearly, over 1,200 wellness members and 5,000 youth members averaging 400 children per day in our licensed childcare sites. In addition to our central building of 100,000 square feet, the AYCC operates six (6) off sites after school centers, manages the outdoor municipal pool, owns and operates a premier residential and day camp operation at Camp Tracy. The organization also has two MLB licensed replica baseball fields, Maine’s Fenway and Purnell Wrigley Field. We are proud of our 98 years of service to the community, but we remain even more so hopeful about the impact upon our Central Maine communities yet to come.  The organization has no debit and has annual budget of 6.5M. The AYCC has over 160 employees and is continuing grow. As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for leading the successful development of strategy and management of digital platforms including, but not limited to, online, mobile, social, email, text, search, display, interactive, platform integration, and digital content development. You will use all platforms (earned, paid and digital) to advance the AYCC’s cause and strategic priorities of member experience, program and staff experience, community building and philanthropy.  This position leads all marketing and communications team members with the objective of increase positive visibility and awareness among key audiences.  This position will collaborate closely with the Board, Executive Leadership and Community teams as well as operational functions across the organization.

Come work for our NAEYC Accredited, Reggio-Emilia inspired early learning program! We are looking for early childhood professionals for Toddler/Twos, and Preschool age group classrooms.   The Assistant Teacher is a valuable part of our teaching team in the early learning center. The assistant teacher implements daily activities and lessons in the classroom and museum, assists the head teacher with lesson planning, observation and documentation, and assessments in accordance with NAEYC, School Readiness, and OEC guidelines. The assistant teacher also helps to prepare the learning environment, conduct small group lessons, and supervise the children under the head teacher's direction.   Requirements:   A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 12 ECE credits and one year of experience with young children is required for this position. Candidates should be familiar with NAEYC standards, CT state licensing guidelines, and Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Prospective employees should be familiar with the CT Early Learning and Development Standards. First Aid, CPR, and Administration of Medication is preferred, but not required. The assistant teacher should be outgoing, friendly, detail-oriented, flexible, and reliable, a team player, able to multi-task and take direction well. Must be able to work Monday-Friday during early learning center hours. A familiarity with the Reggio-Emilia approach to education is preferred. This is a full time position with benefits. PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Chief Administrative Officer is responsible for the financial, human resources, compliance, safety, and risk management operations of the agency. This position functions as a member of the Senior Leadership team, integrally involved in development of organizational strategies.   This includes preparation of the annual budget, monthly budget vs. actual reporting, cash flow analysis and income and expense grant allocations and reporting.  The Chief Administrative Officer is also responsible for preparation for and representation at the annual outside audit, and review of subsequent audit reports and Federal tax and State regulatory filings.  This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.  Position provides reporting for and attends finance, safety and investment committee meetings and board of trustee meetings.

PRIMARY FUNCTION   In accordance with the elements of competence established for Boys & Girls Clubs resource development professionals, the Director of Development works with the Chief Executive Officer to plan and execute resource development strategies and monitor progress against those strategies. This person is responsible for:   - Donor Cultivation & Solicitation: Planning and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual, corporate, foundation and major donors. - Fundraising Events: Planning and implementing organization wide fundraising events, guided by the CEO and the board; identify and create opportunities to build public awareness of Club programs, services and activities. - Marketing: Planning and implementing all of the organization’s marketing strategies, communications and public relations activities, both internal and external. - Data Management: Planning and implementing the organization’s resource development related data collection activities, including direct data entry into a data system. - Strategic Goals: Planning and implementing resource development activities that generate income for the organization in alignment with current and future strategic goals; contribute to the development of long-term goals for the organization  

The VP of Resource Development works with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and board to plan and execute resource development strategies and monitor progress toward goals. Supports the CEO in positioning the board to cultivate and solicit major gifts and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations, United Way, government agencies and others, and is responsible for providing leadership and direction to staff in support of resource development and marketing.   Annual Salary $50,000-$75,000  $1000.00 Signing Bonus Offered 

The Director of Development works with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and board to plan and execute resource development strategies and monitor progress toward goals. Supports the CEO in positioning the board to cultivate and solicit major gifts and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations, United Way, government agencies and others, and is responsible for providing leadership and direction to staff in support of resource development and marketing.

Responsible for planning, directing, supervising and evaluating Club athletic programs to line up with, correspond to and support Area/Branch strategy.

The Assistant Club Director works with the Club Director to oversee the daily operations of the Unit, with primary concern for membership promotion, volunteer engagement and income accountability. The Assistant Club Director assumes full responsibility for the Club in the absence of the Club Director. This position will also have an emphasis in supporting the teen program and college bound program.

Plans, develops, implements, coordinates and supervises programs and program staff, and performs related administrative duties.  Markets and establishes community relations to support Club One. Safety is the number one priority of the Teen Director.

JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Branch Director, the Athletic & Wellness Director plans and executes athletic programs, leagues, camps, health and wellness, and nutrition programs. The Athletic & Wellness Director supports our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship of our members. Athletic programs aim to teach members the fundamentals of a variety of sports, teamwork, sportsmanship, healthy lifestyles, good character and leadership. Safety is the number one priority of the Athletic & Wellness Director.

The Middle School Director supports our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, and Good Character and Citizenship of our members. Markets and establishes community relations to support middle school programs. Safety is the number one priority of the Middle School Director.

JOB SUMMARY:    Under the supervision of the Branch Director, the Social Recreation Director plans and coordinates structured social interaction, through field trips, recreational and essential activities to enhance social skills and allow members to build lifelong friendships through real life situations. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Manages the operations of the annual fundraising campaign, ensuring maximum community participation and contributions.  Lead special events for fundraising efforts for all locations (Hill City, Hot Springs, Lead-Deadwood). Organizes and staffs all relevant committee meetings.  Provides general program and administrative support ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.  Promotes and markets the organization through all medias, website and Facebook page.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley needs dynamic, flexible people who are ignited by the idea of Igniting Greatness in the youth we serve.  This newly expanded position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs such as Academic Enrichment, College Readiness, the Arts, and Sports & Recreation. Plan, develop, oversee implementation and supervise programs and program staff for various Teen Center programs, including the integration of Youth Force development programs.  This position is also responsible for teen recruitment and retention of teen membership. 

Position Summary: This position assists in maintaining a safe environment, enforces all pool rules and follows all required emergency procedures.
