The Senior Director of Development works closely with the Chief Development Officer to assist in growing support and market visibility through the development and execution of strategic fundraising and communications/marketing plans in alignment with the organization’s overall goals. These would include positioning the organization advantageously in media, social media, with prospects and donors and by creating and maintaining fundraising campaigns and stewardships plans for all donors and constituents. Under the direction of the Director of Operations the Unit Director, manages and provides daily oversight for the Lodi Clubhouse facility, its staff, volunteers, and partners.  Key areas of responsibility include providing leadership, facility management and operations, fiscal oversight, strategic planning, interpersonal skills, and relationship building.  The Unit Director serves as the primary leadership contact for all stakeholders who work and collaborate with the Lodi Clubhouse.

Lead staff person in charge of Human Resources Management & Systems and support staff for financial/accounting management in the administrative office.  Responsible for providing executive support to the Finance Director and/or Chief Executive Officer.  May include serving as a liaison to the board of directors, manage and assist with overall administrative and personnel services, office, and information management to include development and implementation of policies and practices that comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and are consistent with Boys and Girls Clubs of Lower Bergen County’s mission.

FUNCTION – SCOPE STATEMENT:   Support, promote, and enhance the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the BGCGH. Lead the organization in a data and impact driven culture. Develop and manage data systems for the overall programmatic operations for BGCGH. Create systems that support the sustainability of clean and accurate data. Manage overall programmatic and operational recording and tracking of major reports, with primary concern for data management processes, guidelines, implementation, reporting and record keeping; communication with appropriate administrative and Club staff, and training and administration on relevant data tracking systems.
