POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Assists in the overall management of Club operations under the supervision and direction of the Vice President of Youth Development. Executes daily functions in areas ranging from safety, policy execution, staff and intern supervision, task and project management, and program design. May regularly work from multiple Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington locations in the course of a week (Ellettsville, Lincoln St., Ferguson-Crestmont, Camp Rock, Owen County, Kenworthy Administrative Center).

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County are positioning themselves to be the premier provider of Youth Development Programs in our area through targeted outreach initiatives, strategic partnerships with schools and local governments, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County was founded in 1946 and has been a pillar of youth programming in the community ever since. With four Clubhouses, and four licensed care center campuses we are the largest provider of youth programming in Whatcom County.
Under the supervision of the CEO, the VP of Resource Development is the Chief Fundraiser for the organization; responsible for leading and executing current and long-range strategies required to build a strong fundraising culture and program that meets annual and long-range goals. The VP of Development will drive a strong revenue-oriented culture based on market-driven targets by leading the development team in planning, managing, and implementing fund development strategies for the organization. They will maintain their own portfolio of assigned major donors and prospects and personally make solicitations.
Successful special events will also play a significant role in fund raising. Working closely with the CEO and/ or Board, the VP of RD will design and implement a comprehensive, dynamic strategy that will ensure the success of individual, corporate, and foundation giving. This key leader will develop, research, and oversee grant-based funding opportunities as an expanded channel. Functioning in a highly visible externally facing role, they will represent the organization while cultivating donors, managing staff and volunteers and are responsible to supervise the RD team, currently a full time Marketing Manager, Events & Fundraising Manager, and contracted grant writer. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in creating and expanding a culture of transformational philanthropy through stewardship; providing strong leadership; and having successfully recruited, motivated, and mentored a team of development professionals.
Directs and manages overall daily operations of a branch/unit under the control of the organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery. Also supervises and trains staff (direct and indirect reports), handles personnel issues, manages facility, develops and manages a budget, actively engages and supports a Unit Advisory Council, and manages community relations, volunteers, and membership administration.
The RD & Marketing Director Supports the Executive Director/CPO and board to plan and execute resource development strategies and monitor progress toward goals. He/she also works to cultivate and solicit major gifts and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations, government agencies and others and is responsible for providing leadership and direction their marketing and development team members, as needed, in their role of supporting the resource development and all organizational marketing efforts.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) is accountable for achieving the fundraising and development goals of the Philanthropy team by growing our foundations, corporate and individual contributions, special events, grants and government funding streams, expanding our donor base and by managing key donor relationships. KEY ROLES
Reporting to the CEO, the Director, Programs & Compliance is directly responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing the organizational approach to creating an Optimal Club Experience for youth ages 6 to 18 with an emphasis on long term organizational strategy. Specifically, this position will oversee a broad range of programmatic operations with the primary concern for program development, implementation, and evaluation; program grant reporting/compliance, program/community outreach; collaboration and partnership; Club membership records and tracking.
In partnership with the Chief Professional Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors, the Director of Resource Development & Marketing plans, directs and administers comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategies aimed at increasing the organization’s fundraising income and public awareness of services, programs and activities.
The Chief Executive Officer leads the growth and development of the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, ensuring it is capable of delivering on its long-term vision. This position ensures BGCPP’s fiscal operations, fundraising, marketing, human resources, and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across all segments of the organization. The CEO plays a valuable role in Board development, in setting and executing the Strategic Goals of the organization and in carrying out its mission.

The Board of Directors is seeking an Executive Director who envisions themself at the helm of a mission-driven organization that strives to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We need a strategic thinker to manage our $500k budget and oversee the operations of our afterschool and summer programming for Brattleboro area youth ages 5-18, at two separate locations. This entails working closely with staff and Board members to ensure the fiscal sustainability and compassionate work culture at both our:
● Nature-based, state-licensed child care program operating out of the Retreat Farm in Brattleboro
● Downtown teen center, providing unique enrichment programs for 11 to 18-year-olds in our own 8,000 square foot facility, including an indoor skate park.
Responsibilities of this position demand exceptional skills in fiscal oversight, grant management, staff & community relations. Our next leader will also require a strong knowledge of non-profit management, Board functionality and child development. The Executive Director will work closely with The Board of Directors and Boys & Girls Club of America to ensure compliance with national policies and membership requirements. Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) has overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford programs and manages program directors. The COO provides leadership to the strategic planning process and implements new strategic initiatives related to Operations and Program Services. In addition, the COO partners with Development, Finance & Human Resource leadership to coordinate efforts and foster teamwork, is responsible for regular interactions and updates with the Board of Directors on key initiatives and cultivates relationships with public and private funders.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis invites applications for the position of Grants Director. The successful candidate must possess exceptional writing and project management skills. The Grants Manager reports to the Senior Director and is responsible for attaining financial support through the successful planning, implementation and reporting of grants. Specific duties include generating grant proposals and supporting documents, maintaining and implementing a grant funding calendar, leading a cross departmental grants team, ensuring reporting is done in a timely manner and researching and identifying new grant prospects.
As a member of the Senior Management team, the Vice President of Finance is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all financial functions for BGCSDC which encompasses its Foundation, and the Florida Alliance Boys & Girls Clubs. This includes the management of accounting processes, budgeting, property management, annual audits, and the administration of property and liability insurance. The Vice President of Finance will provide strategic leadership to ensure the accurate and timely completion of daily accounting functions, supervising the finance department, fostering a collaborative environment, and overseeing the preparation of grant reports and financial reports. With a commitment to precision and compliance, the Vice President of Finance contributes to BGCSDC’s financial stability by implementing effective financial strategies, maintaining regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within the finance department.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Vice President of Operations will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and management of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South’s core operational functions with a specific focus on facilities and asset management, risk prevention and safety, member transportation services, and summer day camp operations.
The Vice President of Operations (VPO) will oversee eight direct reports and will serve as the organization’s facilities operations leader. They will be responsible for providing strategy and oversight in the areas of Club operations and child safety, and will support mission impact through facilities and risk management, quality assurance, and servant leadership.
The VPO will work in close partnership with the Vice President & Chief Program Officer to ensure that BGCMS facilities promote program quality, consistency, and outcomes. This individual advises and assists the Executive Directors in the efficient and effective daily operations of their Clubhouses, identifies and evaluates opportunities to improve efficiencies and the overall Clubhouse environment to drive youth attendance, engagement, and outcomes.
