In concert with the vision set by the Board of Directors and CEO, plan and execute resource development strategies and monitor progress against goals. Develop and implement a fundraising plan for the organization to meet operating budget needs on an annual basis as well as long term. Secure funds to meet organizational growth objectives. Responsible for the development and coordination of fundraising campaigns, oversight of grant proposal writing and reporting, special events and donor solicitation. Manage all development staff and contractors as assigned by CEO. Manage Development Committee as well as the overall engagement of board members on fundraising efforts. Along with the CEO, serve as the principal development staff person on operating, capital and endowment campaigns.

Directs and manages overall daily operations of a Club/unit under the control of the organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery, supervision and training of staff (direct and indirect reports), personnel issues, management of a facility, develop and manage a budget, community relations, volunteers, and membership administration.

Youth Development Professional: Seasonal – ROOTS Austin The Youth Development Professionals role is providing daily programs, services and activities for Program Site participants, which are consistent with the organization’s youth development mission and goals. Youth development Professionals are primarily, but not exclusively, responsible for youth supervision, developing positive, productive relationships with students and overseeing the delivery of a broad range of programs such as Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, Sports-Fitness & Recreation and Healthy Lifestyles.  This person will work closely with the Site Coordinator to plan & implement designated programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes for youth. The person will maintain program goals that ensure the health and safety of participants. The Youth Development Professional reports to the Site Coordinator.   

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Preschool Teacher is responsible for assisting with the development and effective operation of a quality early care child care program that complies with current Delacare and Delaware Stars requirements for early care and school-age centers. 

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Engage and inspire young people aged 6-18 to learn and grow to be responsible adults. Oversee the core programs of the Club for ages 13-18 and both genders by ensuring that staff are planning, developing and implementing programs and activities that support the organizations standards.  Must monitor and evaluate situations quickly using good judgment to assess situations and make decisions.  Create and maintain a safe environment for teens and adults within the program space.  Communicate with parents as necessary regarding behavior and Club events. This position will supervise teen program staff and volunteers.  This position will also be responsible for administrative tasks as assigned by the Service Director, including management of staff, financial duties, and grant reporting. 

The Sr. Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a member of the senior executive leadership team by supporting the CEO/President in the strategic planning and implementation of the organization’s HR operations. Working with key stakeholders, the CPO will establish long-term capital and annual fundraising goals and strategies and will successfully execute.

Under the leadership and supervision of the Branch Director, the Program Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of a specific program for youth between the ages of 5 and 19 within the assigned Club. Program responsibility supports our priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Citizenship. The Program Director also provides leadership and supervision to assigned program and volunteer staff; manages budgets and controls expenses as assigned.

Under the guidance of the Vice President of Youth Development & Chief Operating Officer or designee, the Branch Unit Director directs and manages overall daily operations of the branch under the control of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia (BGCCG) organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery. Also supervises and trains staff (direct and indirect reports), handles personnel issues, manages facility, develops, and manages a budget, actively engages, and supports a Branch Advisory Board, and manages community relations, volunteers, and membership administration. This position requires hands-on leadership with a deep passion and desire to provide opportunities for youth in an underserved and challenged community.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for controlling the membership registration, record-keeping, and communication and control of the Front Desk area.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Individual Philanthropy, the Individual Philanthropy Manager (Manager) is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new and existing individual and family foundation donors. This position supports a portfolio that is comprised of donors capable of supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver’s (BGCMD) general operations, capital projects, fundraising events, and special projects. The balance of the portfolio will consist of external donor relationships in support of BGCMD’s resource development goals. The Manager plays an important role by working cross-functionally to maintain and develop a donor pipeline and relationships with stakeholders through a high level of service to increase contributions and sponsorship revenue. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for a revenue portfolio of $400K-$800K annually.

Function:  The Chief Development Officer will be the senior level development professional responsible to lead a successful Annual Giving, Alumni Giving, Major Gifts and Planned Giving program; also responsible for planning, developing, and growing a comprehensive fundraising program for securing financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations to meet organizational goals.   

  FUNCTION – SCOPE STATEMENT: Responsible for a portfolio of corporate partnerships of $25,000 or above, with a diverse portfolio of 50 to 75 accounts which includes both current donors and new prospects. Strong emphasis on developing new business, spending the majority of time with prospective donors. Identify, develop, and propose revenue-generating prospects with existing corporate partners. Pursue new leads while collaborating closely with the BGCGH leadership team and Board of Directors to leverage existing connections and networks. Responsible for submitting high-quality proposals when necessary to guarantee that deliverables are met.

BRANCH DIRECTORPOSITION DESCRIPTION Hourly Rate $20-$25   The Branch Director coordinates and directs all Club programming at his/her Club Unit. He/she reports directly to the Director of Operations.      He/she is responsible for the supervision of after school, vacation, and early release day programs.This includes coordinating with and supervising all program staff, including the Teen Coordinators with regards to teen programming.      He/she is responsible for holding timely program staff meetings, attending Managers Meetings, All Staff meetings, Board Meetings (when requested) and Community Meetings (as appropriate).     SKILLS   - Demonstrated ability in planning, initiating and interpreting activities, programs and services based on the developmental needs of young people.     - Must possess verbal and written communication skills.      - Must have the ability to put together requested information for proposals, reports, and marketing & communication items for their program.     - Must be able to manage and train all program staff.     - Must have good customer service skills.    - Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office, Excel& Publisher.  Is able to use the internet for research and other job duties.     BENEFITS    - 11 paid holidays  - Accrued sick time can be used as paid time-off  - 2 weeks of accrued vacation years 1 - 5.
