JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Director of Institutional Giving is responsible for raising the organization’s profile in the Metro Atlanta area in pursuit of strategic, high-value partnerships with companies and foundations. These partnerships will yield revenue, expand awareness of BGCMA among corporate employees and consumers, and leverage corporate talent to enable Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta to serve more kids, more often, with greater impact across Metro Atlanta.    The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, adept project manager, and consummate networker, who can ignite enthusiasm and inspire people to support the cause. The Senior Director will partner closely with the Vice President, Resource Development, the Program team, Development colleagues, senior leadership, board members, advisory board members and donors. The position will report directly to the VP, Resource Development.

JOB SUMMARY: The Vice President, Resource Development will work closely with the Chief Development Officer (CDO) to provide leadership for the Resource Development (RD) department- a 19-person team charged with raising $19+ million annually to support BGCMA’s general operations and our RISE2025 goal to serve more kids, more often, with greater impact across Metro Atlanta.   This role manages a team of 8 development leaders tasked with raising nearly $9 million of the $19 million annual goal from Foundations, Corporations, and Special Events. This role is supported by a Sr. Director of Institutional Giving, Director of Foundation Giving, Director of Institutional Giving, Director of Partnerships, Community Engagement Manager, Director of Special Events, Special Events Manager, and a Special Events Coordinator.   The Vice President, Resource Development must be a seasoned development professional with deep roots in the Atlanta philanthropic market. They must raise the organization’s profile in the Metro Atlanta area in pursuit of strategic, high-value partnerships with companies and foundations. The VP will be responsible for increasing philanthropic support from institutions by at least 10% each year.  Because the position manages a team, the VP must be a strong people manager and have a commitment to developing a strong team of front-line fundraisers.   The VP will partner closely with the CDO, Programs & Operations team, Development colleagues, senior leadership, board members, advisory board members and donors to ensure BGCMA raises the necessary resources to fulfill our mission.   We ignite the unlimited potential of kids & teens by creating safe, inclusive & engaging environments.

Summary: Direct and manage the daily operations of the designated Club, focusing on program delivery, staff supervision, facilities management, community relations, and membership administration.

The Senior Director of Development works closely with the Chief Development Officer to assist in growing support and market visibility through the development and execution of strategic fundraising and communications/marketing plans in alignment with the organization’s overall goals. These would include positioning the organization advantageously in media, social media, with prospects and donors and by creating and maintaining fundraising campaigns and stewardships plans for all donors and constituents. The Senior Director of Development will manage the Director of Development and Community Engagement, the Events Manager, and the Digital Storyteller and Marketing coordinator

Under the direction of the Director of Operations the Unit Director, manages and provides daily oversight for the Lodi Clubhouse facility, its staff, volunteers, and partners.  Key areas of responsibility include providing leadership, facility management and operations, fiscal oversight, strategic planning, interpersonal skills, and relationship building.  The Unit Director serves as the primary leadership contact for all stakeholders who work and collaborate with the Lodi Clubhouse.

Lead staff person in charge of Human Resources Management & Systems and support staff for financial/accounting management in the administrative office.  Responsible for providing executive support to the Finance Director and/or Chief Executive Officer.  May include serving as a liaison to the board of directors, manage and assist with overall administrative and personnel services, office, and information management to include development and implementation of policies and practices that comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and are consistent with Boys and Girls Clubs of Lower Bergen County’s mission.

Provides strategic leadership of Club operations and programs with primary concern for high quality outcome driven program development, service delivery, and staff development. Enables each Club Unit to effectively deliver Salvation Army programs and Boys & Girls Club youth development program(s) and strategies, which expand the mission of The Salvation Army. Collaborates with the Divisional Director (SABGCTX CEO) in setting and driving an operational strategy that facilitates the achievement of mission and strategic outcomes.  Enhances organizational excellence by establishing operational benchmarks and timelines needed to archive strategic goals by proactively recommending improvements; that drives Salvation Army territorial standards (SOP’s), BGCA standards of effectiveness (SOE), and key performance indicators.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) must possess a natural connection and passion for BGCLAH’s mission: to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. Achieving this through a commitment to quality programs and services in an environment that is safe, nurturing and inspiring. The successful candidate will provide both vision and inspiration to this dynamic organization, with a specific focus on setting a sustained program strategy, advocating for staff and youths, fundraising, team building, and amplifying impact in the LA Harbor Region. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will build upon the organization’s respected footprint and their rich history, led expertly for the last 30 years by Mike Lansing.

FUNCTION – SCOPE STATEMENT:   Support, promote, and enhance the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the BGCGH. Lead the organization in a data and impact driven culture. Develop and manage data systems for the overall programmatic operations for BGCGH. Create systems that support the sustainability of clean and accurate data. Manage overall programmatic and operational recording and tracking of major reports, with primary concern for data management processes, guidelines, implementation, reporting and record keeping; communication with appropriate administrative and Club staff, and training and administration on relevant data tracking systems.  

AmeriCorps VISTA leader program is open to members who have completed at least one year of full-time service with AmeriCorps or Peace Corps. Leaders work to expand and build capacity of individual members, guiding VISTA members serving across Indian Country through their year of service.   Leaders have demonstrated leadership qualities and skills during their service and are prepared to accept a new level of responsibility.   VISTA Leader will serve as recruiter, coordinator, trainer, mentor, and resource provider with the goals of strengthening our VISTA Members and overall project. The VISTA Leader will support the recruitment of high-quality VISTA members, facilitate orientations and training for the VISTA Team, provide mentorship and resources to VISTAs, expand the VISTA program to meet emerging community needs, and document processes to enhance project sustainability.   The BGCIC VISTA Leader will be based at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Office and will work a hybrid schedule to support the BGCIC VISTA Members serving Clubs that reside on Native Lands.   The VISTA Leader will collaborate closely with the Director of Federal Grants – CNCS to facilitate a range of activities related to the recruitment, promotion, and onboarding of AmeriCorps VISTA Members as well a fulfilling their respective VISTA Assignment Description.

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the organization’s day-to-day operating activities. The COO provides leadership to the strategic planning process and implements new strategic initiatives related to areas such as Operations, Program Services, Finance and Human Resources. The COO leads an executive management team and is also responsible for regular interactions and updates with the Board of Directors on key initiatives.

JOB SUMMARY  Under the supervision of the Director of Impact, the Area Program Director provides leadership, standardization, and direction that ensures successful delivery of programs, services, and operations of an area cluster of sites. The Area Program Director directs, supervises, and monitors the administration of policy, logistics, grants, personnel and budget. The Area Program Director will also work with the community, school system, local law enforcement, and other entities. The Area Program Director will prepare for the Director of Impact such reports, stats, plans, or other information as requested.

The CEO’s support of philanthropy and already well-established expectations of the Board supply a strong foundation for continued growth. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley has a strong fundraising track record also and the individual selected for this opportunity should be able to leverage that success to design and implement a comprehensive fund development program that further advances the organization’s service to over 14,000 young people each year.

Plans, implements, supervises and evaluates all programs and activities provided in program areas leading to the priority outcomes of Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.

The Director of Program Administration designs and implements academic and enrichment programs that align with Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier’s five core program areas: Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Develops curriculum or content for Clubs or other educational materials. The Director of Program Administration may oversee the operations of training certification and preparing new and existing programs. Ensures that all federal grant program activities and requirements are met with quality. The Director of Program Administration creates functional strategies and specific positive outcomes for youth. Deep knowledge of BGCA’s programs; and federal, state, and local grant funded programs such as 21st CCLC, OJJDP, Boost, and Georgia Alliance is necessary to the overall function of the department.

The Program Coordinaor is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of Club programs that support our piority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship. The Program Coordinator also provides leadership and supervision to assigned programs and volunteers; manages budgets and controls expenses as assigned.
