Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South is the preeminent youth development organization in Southeastern Massachusetts, serving more than 2,500 youth annually from infancy to adulthood from nearly 50 zip codes at our Clubhouses in Brockton and Taunton, 100-acre Camp Riverside property, and at several community extension sites across the region. The Senior Director of Life & Workforce Readiness provides strategic leadership for all life skills, workforce development, and teen programming at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South (BGCMS), serving members ages 12-18. Reporting to the VP of Youth Development, this role is responsible for designing, delivering, and expanding a continuum of programming that moves young people through three intentional stages — Explore, Develop, and Apply — from early curiosity and foundational skill-building in areas of Academic Success, Health & Well-being, Character & Leadership and Life & Workforce Readiness with an end goal of career exploration, hands-on training, industry certifications, and real-world work experience.
This position additionally manages the BGCMS Regional AmeriCorps program as well as the Work Based Learning Experience (WBLE) stipend-based training program, oversees the delivery of grant-funded workforce initiatives, and actively builds new educational and internship partnerships with corporations, higher education institutions, and community organizations.
