The Club Director is both a hands-on youth leader and an operations manager. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced afterschool environment—someone who enjoys engaging with youth while also managing staff, compliance, and program outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily Club operations, ensuring safe and effective program delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers, providing professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with grant/funding requirements.
  • Build strong partnerships with schools, parents, and community organizations.
  • Manage Club finances, facilities, and resources.
  • Lead efforts to grow membership, participation, and family engagement.
  • Represent the organization at community events, school meetings, and partner functions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education, Child Development, Recreation, Nonprofit Management, or related field).

  • Minimum 3–5 years in youth-serving settings (e.g., school-age programs, summer camps, Boys & Girls Clubs, or recreation).

  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or site management role.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, able to work with youth, families, and community partners.
