Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from accredited college or university.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in grant writing and management in a non-profit setting is preferred.
Competencies/Skills/Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience utilizing and leveraging donor management software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated organizational and research abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess a high degree of self-initiative and resourcefulness; able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement in fast-paced, high-pressured environment with strict deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Regularly speak clearly and hear the spoken word.
- Maintain high energy level.
- Ability to perform duties effectively under stressful conditions; ability to make decisions quickly and accurately with tact and impartiality
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Travel Required: State-wide travel, 15% or less.
