The Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County (BGCN) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer. Join a dynamic and growing organization that has tripled our annual budget to 3.5 million over the last decade, while achieving the first five star rating for our licensed childcare on Aquidneck Island and significantly growing the numbers of youth served. BGCN is nearing the finish of its first ever comprehensive campaign, raising $15 million and will begin construction soon with the goal of moving into newly renovated and expanded facilities in early ’27. Be a key member of the leadership team as we move to double the number of youth served (including licensed childcare, adding a PreK program, teens, athletics, aquatics, camps, and school partnerships).
Direct experience driving significant growth, developing staff, and delivering improved outcomes are critical.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role on the Executive Management Team, overseeing the day-to-day operations across all club locations. The COO ensures that programs are delivered effectively and safely, manages operational budgets, and supports partnerships that enhance youth development and organizational growth.
