Overview

Directs and manages overall daily operations of a club under the control of the organization with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery. Also supervises and trains staff (direct and indirect reports), handles personnel issues, manages facility, develops and manages a budget, actively engages and supports and manages community relations, volunteers, and membership administration.

Position Summary: The Club Director will oversee the daily operations of the designated Club, focusing on program delivery, staff supervision, facilities management, community relations, and membership administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Establish and manage programs that prepare youth for success, ensuring a healthy and safe environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement programs and activities that meet objectives and member needs, and compile regular activity reports.
  • Supervision: Manage staff and volunteers, provide training and development, and ensure effective performance.
  • Marketing and Public Relations: Increase program visibility and maintain public relations to promote Club activities.
  • Management: Oversee financial resources, develop budgets, and maintain facilities and equipment.
  • Partnership Development: Build relationships with parents, community leaders, volunteers, and organizations.
  • Safety and Emergency Response: Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and contribute to program evaluation and improvement.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with families and community stakeholders to support holistic development of club members.
  • Membership Registration: Oversee and comply with membership registration guidelines, ensuring timely submission of all registrations and reports.
 

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of eight years’ experience in non-profit management and supervision, including at least one year as a Club Director
    • Strong passion for youth development and experience working with children
    • Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills
    • Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and volunteers effectively

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Participate in special programs and events
    • May be required to drive the Club van
    • Represent the Club at school parent meetings
    • Perform other duties as assigned
