Responsibilities

Duties:
- Educate and engage children and youth in various activities and programs
- Provide supervision and guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of participants
- Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities, including sports coaching, theater, and arts and crafts
- Assist with homework help and academic support
- Foster positive relationships with participants, families, and staff members
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement program curriculum
- Maintain a clean and organized program space

 

Qualifications

Skills:
- Experience working with children in a daycare, childcare, or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse populations, including students with special needs or disabilities

Two to three years experience working with kids

- Experience in special education or early childhood education is a plus
