POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensure that passenger safety, on all Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket (Club) vehicles, is the highest priority. The Transportation Coordinator & Bus Driver is responsible for maintaining the Club’s transportation fleet so as to meet the highest level of safety and meet all certifications as outlined by the State of Rhode Island. Transportation Coordinator & Bus Driver is also responsible for driver scheduling and assisting in hiring, and training and supervision of bus drivers. Hours: Full Time, Non-Exempt Monday-Friday.
Each of these areas of responsibility is designed to further the organization’s mission of preparing youth for success by inspiring and enabling young people from Pawtucket and surrounding communities, especially those with greatest need, to realize their full potential as healthy, productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket is offering a one-time sign on bonus of $500 for qualified candidates. This bonus will be paid in two installments and will be subject to payroll taxes. In the event that you separate from company within six months of your date of hire, you will be responsible for reimbursing the company for the entire signing bonus. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must have at least five years’ experience driving a school bus with a positive driving record. Experience supervising, training and evaluating personnel is preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma and certified state of R.I. school bus license with all necessary endorsements required.
