Overview

The Annual Giving Manager is a key member of the Resource Development team. This person is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors to support the annual campaign. This position will oversee direct mail and e-mail solicitation and manage/develop the donor database, including donation acknowledgment, donor stewardship, cultivation, and retention. The Annual Giving Manager coordinates with staff in seeking grant funds and is responsible for foundation, corporate, and government grants. The Annual Giving Manager will focus on strategically expanding the organization’s annual giving program with a goal of significantly increasing the base of annual fund support of gifts up to $5,000.

Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:               

  • Plan and execute steps for donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for gifts up to $5,000 from individuals giving non-designated gifts to the annual
  • Design and manage a comprehensive direct mail program and online giving strategies and analyze Direct Mail/e-mail solicitation program results to increase
  • Collaborate with the CEO, RD staff to establish benchmarks and regular reporting processes to measure results.
  • Develop and manage consistent messaging to donors and prospects that aligns with Club goals and objectives.

  • Design and implement strategy to engage alumni in becoming annual donors.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree. Three or more years of fundraising experience with proven track record. Well versed in direct mail and e-mail solicitation best practices. Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data related to donor giving. Proficient with donor database use and management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Office. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Positive attitude and a passion for fulfilling the organization’s mission.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Federal and State grant experience. Some marketing, social media, PR experience a strong plus. Boys & Girls Club experience.
