Position Summary: This individual manages and oversees the solicitation of
sponsorships, fundraising events, stewardship opportunities, and manages
annual comprehensive giving campaigns. They will work closely with the CEO of the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club and other staff to engage in collaboration for the success of annual giving to the organization.
Salary: $36,000.00 - $40,000 per year
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and execute steps for donor identification, cultivation, solicitation,
and stewardship of potential donors.
2. Lead and supervise the implementation of comprehensive campaign
strategy including: End of the Year Campaign, Corporate Donors, specials
events, and program sponsors.
3. Manage efforts of stewardship and special event volunteers.
4. Establish benchmarks and regular monthly reporting processes to measure
results of all individual giving and special event activities to CEO and the
Henderson Advisory Board.
5. Work effectively with the CEO and Henderson Advisory Board to identify
new donors and build strategies engage and encouraging donors to give
at the highest levels.
6. Work closely with marketing staff of the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club and
CEO to manage consistent messaging to donors and prospects in
promoting special events, engaging community support, and generating
annual revenue.
7. Create an Annual Fundraising calendar with targeted dates.
8. Effectively communicate and track positive results and provide
committee reports of all special events, and fundraising efforts to the CEO
and Henderson Advisory Board.
9. Be goal oriented with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines,
manage several projects simultaneously and a proven track record of
donor meetings and events, some evenings and weekends required.
10.Develop strategic alliances with community leaders and local officials
and develop collaborative partnerships with other community partners
and organizations.
11.Maintain good public relations with local media contacts, Club members
and their families, alumni, community leaders, and other professional and
organizations serving the youth of Henderson County.
12.Ensure the evaluation of development activities and identify opportunities
for improvement and tracking success through donor management.
13.Responsible for providing leadership in scheduling of event venues held
within the Henderson Club.
Bachelor’s degree with 3-4 years of fundraising experience with
volunteers/boards
Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful
fundraising strategies
Strong interpersonal skills with great attention to detail, and strong with
follow through and tracking
Ability to organize rentals by creating contracts and working with outside organizations and individuals to ensure a smooth rental process.
Ability to create flyers, design newsletters, communicate with donors, and have experience with social media.
Demonstrated success in further developing and maintaining new
fundraising programs and groups
Team oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with other
department and volunteer/board members
Ability to gather and analyze data
Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills
